On-topic: If people want to talk about exploits, then how about the fact that Gaile used the ferry exploit to get to the end-game town of EotN and now has chaos gloves on a level 7? Now that is an obvious exploit that is out in open view for everyone to see (whereas Borat here never went out in Local Chat screaming "I HAVE BOTH LS AND LDoA AND YOU DON'T BWA HAHAHAHA!!!!").

Something about that just doesn't seem right to me. But of course that is just my opinion, and I'm not trying to put you down, Gaile.

@ Karate Jesus, If you think I deserved it, that is your full right. That was the intital point why I made this thread. However, you're wrong when you say I "pretended I was innocent". Read through the thread to understand why, especially the parts where Gaile Gray herself said they would not ban for these items.

@ lohrok, The facts are that I never broke the rules explicitly. The rules changes after I had commited the actions. If sneezing in public all of a sudden became illegal, would it be fair to send someone to jail who sneezed in public a week ago? That's the issue at hand here.

Well the consolate docks issue should've been fixed ages ago, but with many things in this game it gets left to fester by anet, then it comes to the point where whats the point of fixing it... the damage has been done.

What was the point of "fixing" my acount then? The damage was done. By that logic, I shouldn't get banned.

I love how Gaile is lying there. She already admitted in a private email that she knows I didn't directly abuse an exploit, but rather got dragged in when I, unknowingly, purchased an exploited item. (Which again even after policy changes would not get you banned) On top of that, she says the acount is forever tainted when this is everything but true. All my other characters were PvP-only (With maybe a sin in factions and a lvl 2 warrior in elona), and the ONLY remnants of the exploit was LS and LDoA on my monk.

Titles can easily be removed. They have even removed fame count from a few people I know in the past. Gaile is downright lying, and it's sad.

And thats the reason why this thread is here, to rally support and get a responce.

Also don't hope for a flawless/faultless system because your account and many others i'm guessing would been banned many times over from the things i heard and read on here and in game about their attitude at times.

But just owning the item is not the issue here.
USING the item is.
The exploit was not just getting the item, but using the item to do something that is supposedly impossible.
You said "getting both titles was not against the EULA"
But "exploiting bugs" has been always there.
So even if you acquired the item before any EULA change, and even if you used it before any EULA change, using anything the item granted you is abusing the result of an exploit, which is an exploit itself.
If you just had the item then there could something to be made, but you used it. Willingly and knowingly, as you said.
Gaile says that you have both Survivor and LDoA, so that account cannot be.
If you keep with this you will only sound as making excuses, and it won't mater if you are right or not anymore.

As for you losing your account... well... though luck. That stuff happens when you do things like that in the darker areas of the grey zone. There be dragons there, you know, that's why good people don't go there unless they have suicidal tendencies or Tourette syndrome.
All I can do is hope it never happens to me, and nothing else, I'm afraid.

I'll tell you what I see here, anyways. You tried to show off by having both titles, and your greed cost you your account.
You'll either probably hate GW from now on, or wait for GW2.
Whatever you do, just be more careful (and legal (100) good (100)) from now on, in the next games you play. If a shady guy comes and tells you that with his 'stuff' you can do neat things, just say 'NO'.
You may get less Adam by saving the kids, but at least you won't become a soulless bastard, and you'll get the good ending, which is way better than the rest.

Getting LS and LDoA isn't impossible. Back in the early GW days, you used to rezz at a shrine regardless of the rest of your team being dead. As long as they were out of range, you rezzed.

So LS + LDoA itself isn't a breach of the EULA. They were possible to attain at one point in time.

Gaile says LS and LDoA are the reasons to keep me banned, yet she can so easily remove them. The reason she doesn't is because she wants to save her face. She knows she admitted the usage of these items was OK -not bannable- (or atleast tolerated), and she knows that clearly turned out to be wrong in my case.

The main point of this is they told you to move the character out immediately not continue to exploit pre-searing with it.

No, he shouldn't. It's about what happened, and what didn't happen.

What happened is that I did NOT break the rules. On contrary, I closely followed the rules, probably alot closer than most other people did who also purchased these items, and didn't get banned.

The fact that I got LS and LDoA is of no-importance because they are not related to the exploit in question (Which was the hack to get items) and are a completely different discussion alltogether.

The truth is that I did not hack GW, but I did get LS and LDoA. I got banned for hacking Guild Wars, and that's downright wrong.

A penalty for LS and LDoA? If they really wanted to, they could have obviously stripped both titles or the acount. Instead they opted for a perm ban on something which isn't even against the EULA.
